What does it mean when a guy coworker checks on you?

I have a male coworker who seems attracted to me and he regularly notices things about me eg when he’s my rostered day off and I sometimes work online, he’ll message me to ask why I’m working etc.. like he checks on me kind of concerned, but in a considerate way.

No other coworkers do that other than my boss and he doesn’t really do that. So why would this guy even bother? Does it mean anything?
