What signs can I send my guy friend for him to understand that I have feelings for him?

I had a crush on my guy friend for a while and now that I saw him after a long while, I want to know if there is a chance for us to be together.

I want an ultimate test that would tell me if he considers me as just a friend or as a girl. Once and for all.

If he doesn't , I want to move on with my life and treat him as just a friend (I want to keep him as a friend since he is precious to me).

Note: Confessing is out of questions because he says it is the guy who should do that.

Treat him as just a friend anyway because I don’t think the romantic interest is mutual. You say he is a very dear, precious friend which to me implies that you know each other pretty well and must be fairly close. You also say that you’ve had this crush for a while so unless you are an award winning actress then you’ve showed your hand at some point. Blushing, flirty, playful touches and etc, at some point since you’ve known you like him more than a friend, he’s seen some of these behaviors from you. There’s no doubt about it. Yet he chooses to keep you at arms length, making you feel as though you can’t even confess a crush because it’s not your role as a woman. This man’s put you in a box and you don’t seem to recognize that.

On top of all this, how could we advise you on wooing this man who’s allegedly so traditional that you can’t even say “hey I like you”? Anything suggestive you’d physically do would make you look bad let alone using your words since those are off the table too.

I’m not sure why everyone has to try and hint about their feelings….
