I'm familiar with that song and Mark Knopfler, but I never knew he sang! I just thought he played guitar. My dad has a CD of his that he did with Chet Atkins. It was strictly guitar.

Yes, They have been around since I was a kid. Mark Knopfler worked a lot with Bob Dylan years ago. Now he is doing some solo work.
