We’re raised different. Maybe we had good male role models growing up in our lives. My stepfather had been w my mom for maybe 40 something years. So I grew up knowing that to be the foundation of what would become my basis for a relationship. I’ve been w my girl for 18 years now. Others may have grown up w an uncle or brother or other male smoky member who always had multiple women. Some boys these days may even follow what some male influencers are saying. Some men have never had a girl in their life, so as they got older, maybe established their self a little more, had a “glow up” as some people would call it, all of a sudden have access to women. So now it’s like a kid being in candy store. A lot of men may have acquired status, gained financial independence by becoming wealthy to which women flocked to them. Some men may have been molested growing up so that too can lead to promiscuity. Not trusting women as well especially if they’ve been hurt. Rather then get hurt again they lead women on, use them for what they need then move onto another girl. There’s a lot of reasons. Some are sex addicts , maybe that’s part of the whole molestation process as well. Not only that these days girl are just spreading their legs for nothing, like it’s going out of style so men don’t even have to try.

I can't speak for other men, but I don't, and wouldn't, cheat because I have self respect. It doesn't matter if I could get away with it, and if nobody would ever know.

The problem is that I would know, and I would hate myself for it. I'd lose respect for myself, and I'd feel like a piece of shit for betraying the woman I love.

I couldn't do that to a woman, and I couldn't do that to myself. Cheating simply isn't an option for me. When I'm in a relationship, I have no desire for another woman. I'm just not interested in anybody but her.

Cheating is simply so far from my thought process that I genuinely can't understand how anyone, male or female, could do that, and live with themselves afterwards.

I assume other guys feel the same, but I honestly don't know. That's how I feel about it, though.

I’m one that doesn’t fool around, I’ve been married for 30 years. This is going to sound really perverted but it’s truth. I have had quite a few good friends over the years both dogs and good guys. When those friends get horny, worked up etc… they need to have sex and if their girlfriends don’t put out enough or for some even 1 time they go and find it elsewhere. When I get worked up, horny, excited etc… I simply masturbate. A handful of men cheat constantly, and that’s who you hear about because they’re the ones sleeping with all the women. I would say the average woman is far more likely to cheat than the average man.
And for us average guys, while it’s meant as a shot calling us dogs is a fair comparison. Give us food, a little affection and don’t beat us too hard and we’ll be loyal to a fault
