Guy friend keeps taking off my glasses, is he flirting?

My guy friend kept taking off my glasses all night. The first time he took them off he said in a silly tone “you’re so gorgeous you don’t need these” and the second time he took them off he was joking about characters in movies/shows having a “glow up moment” when they take off their glasses. Even if he was joking both the times he was talking about my looks. I don't know if I’m crazy but this seems like flirting to me, he also likes to play fight a lot by pretending to box me. It’s hard to tell because he’s a touchy guy but he’s had repeated behavior that comes off as flirty to me and I’d like a second opinion.

You honestly can't tell by his comments that he is attracted to you? He sounds like a middle schooler... is he really your best option?

Not really an option just a friend. It’s hard to tell because he’s a very touchy guy with everyone and he makes jokes often. I have a hard time reading body language when it comes to flirting from others so I don’t want to mistake something accidentally when it could very well be that he’s just kidding around. I thought it would be best to see how others interpret the situation especially other guys.
