Why do women believe men look for personality over beauty?

I don’t think any women thinks that. I believe guys look for beauty as everyone else at this world according to their own standards, because that’s what makes you interested in someone and makes you attracted to someone and then you get to know them and their personality and find out if it matches yours or not. I have met some people that I find beautiful but their personality is the worse which makes me loose all the attraction I had for them

Men often say they want peace, loyalty, and compatibility things that sustain a relationship beyond physical attraction.

Beauty may spark interest, but character keeps it.

In reality, most people value both.
