Girls! Are you attracted to the dark mysterious guys?

Let me explain, when I say "dark and mysterious", I mean the type of guy who looks like he's been through alot, he has his own swagger (wears really the type of clothes he wants), has a free spirit (does what he wants and when he wants), and when you look at him, before you talk to him, he's the type of guy who looks like there's a lot in his mind that you don't know about. In his mind he has intelligence, expierance at a young age, opinions on life, and really his own philosophies. But he's pretty quiet about it.

Note: when I said his own swagger, I don't mean extreme colored clothes, pirceings or tatoos. I mean he really fits into every category you can think of. Like he can be a skater, a prep, a gangsta rapper. Kinda a mix.

What do you girls think of this kind of guy, please give me intelligent answers, id appreciate it.

Well for one, only you (who are this guy I presume) would see yourself as that. When we look at someone we don't know, most of us humans don't think "wow he looks like he's been through a lot and is really deep and an individual who is into doing his own thing" etc. We just see the appearance and it can be either "he looks good" or "he looks bad" or "he's strange looking" etc. On the surface we judge at the most shallowest, only those who get to know this person will know these things about him and will probably like them and like his uniqueness. But a complete stranger won't be that invested in trying to find out how deep you are and that you've been through a lot, so they'll likely leave it at a superficial level of attractive or not, weird or not etc.

including dressing and thinking their own way

it's refreshing to see people who don't fit into categories.

It's exhausting thinking of how many artificial followers are out there

People think they have this "category" to fit into. Why not live to your own expectations? People need to realize that.

anyways, its all well & good if he's quiet& thoughtful, but if a guy uses 'mysterious' as an excuse to not communicate, it gets old REALLY fast. anyone who chooses to be secretive, isn't relationship material.

i am attracted to quiet guys, who are honest. not quiet guys who play games.

well, being through a lot has taught him that life is too short to not do what he wants, when he wants.

And say he doesn't use it as an excuse, say he can communicate and be social if he likes a certain girl or has a certain friend.

Btw, I'm not speaking on the terms of if you actually know the guy, I'm talking about what you see of him before you meet him. Say you notice the guy, and he walks up and speaks to you. What would you think of him (his outter appearance)? his personality?

well, I tend to like quiet intelligent guys, & I tend to appreciate a person who has their own mind. so what you described, is attractive to me. I was just saying, that's all attractive at first, but a lot of people use that to keep up a game. so the attraction wears off really quickly.
