Polls: Guy's Behavior

How many times can a guy or girl be stood up before they decide to move on/lose interest in someone they like? Or someone they are/starting a relationship with?

Example:(This is what make me wonder about my question)

My friend is most of the time telling me his girl stood him up!

She has a crazy life I guess, EVERYTHING happens to her. She brakes her phone that's why she couldn't call, she was arrested that's why she couldn't make it, Had an accident, her best friend brother die had to travel, busy with work. All this stuff, I know he loves her but wow, is unbelievable to me how can he keep holding on. Even do he has been stood up more time that he has actually expend time with his girl.

I know his case is a little extreme, but when it comes to dating how many times can someone cancel on you for you to lose interest and just move on?

I tend to tilt my head back when I laugh! But I haven't noticed a lot of people doing this.

How do you laugh?!

Girls - do you like it when other girls, strangers / acquaintances / friends call you "honey" or "sweetie" or "babe" ?

Personally I think its belittling, patronizing, degrading and ANNOYING and really p*sses me off, like she thinks she's better than me or something.

But maybe she is just trying to be friendly. What do other girls think?

What does it mean when a guy calls you by your last name?

Is he flirting/playing with you or is it his way of saying "you are and will always be just a friend - friend zone"?

I emailed a guy friend of mine and started it with "Hey hon" - my email was not romantic or leading in anyway. He responded to my email with addressing me by my last name, stating some fact and signing it. It just surprised me that he addressed me by my last name. I felt it was cold and maybe setting the tone that I shouldn't have addressed him as "hon"?

I didn't mean anything by the "hon" but I don't know if I may have freaked him out by addressing my email to him like that. He isn't a very close friend so maybe he thought it was romantic and wanted to let me know not to get any ideas?

We've been friends for years and we've been talking a lot more for a year now. Keep in mind he has a girlfriend. We're really open with each other. We've talked about being attracted to each other and how cool we think each other is, but we've never even come close to doing anything. He's always told me how much he values my friendship and how much he respects me. I've always wondered if he had feelings for me because he's always talking to me and sometimes he really opens up and we have deep conversations.

Well today I told him I was starting to develop feelings for him and we couldn't continue to be friends because it was only going to get worse. He tells me he's sorry to be losing a friend, but he understands that's how it has to be. I told him he didn't know how bad it really hurt me. He said he's sure he doesn't, but it's for the best. Finally, I tell him that he was never supposed to be able to hurt me, but that I'd get over it and bye. He responds with a "bye..."

I feel like he responded so casually to me telling him I have feelings for him. This is the guy who earlier this week told me that even though he's attracted to me and he knows nothing will come of it, he's willing to stay my friend because I really am cool, fun and interesting to talk to. I didn't expect him to tell me he had feelings for me, especially since he has a gf, but that response seemed so cold to me. Is this normal or was I expecting too much from him?

Well, not really juggle, I'm single, neither guys I'm seeing have asked me or even hinted that they wanted to be exclusive, and I'm not sleeping with either of them.

A part of me likes having the attention of two men a the same time. And I like the both of them, they are very different. Should I just make up my mind as to which one I'd like to date and let go of the other one, or should I wait until one of them asks to be exclusive and then make a decision?

They don't know about each other, it would be kind of awkward, but I do feel bad about seeing those two guys at the same time.

Anyone in the same situation, or having been in that situation?

I'm almost 19, and I've never had my ears pierced! I was thinking about it...i just don't want to look goth or ghetto lol.

What do you guys think? Should I just get them pierced?

If a guy is always opening doors for me, offering to get me things, complimenting me and even walked me home half way across the city [The Opposite Direction from his house!] does he like me?

I wouldn't even be asking but apparently he is almost dating some other girl, so I question whether he is just being nice to me or if he likes me. Help?

The guy I like usually has something dirty to bring up in our conversations. Like saying that something looks like a dick or mentioning sexual activities like golden showers as a joke and asking if I wanted one. Is he flirting or is he just really comfortable with talking about stuff like that with me?
