The guy I like usually has something dirty to bring up in our conversations. Like saying that something looks like a dick or mentioning sexual activities like golden showers as a joke and asking if I wanted one. Is he flirting or is he just really comfortable with talking about stuff like that with me?

He also interacts with me in other ways, its not like sexual innuendos are what we talk about all the time. Are some guys just this dirty minded though?

I have the same problem, except I didn't pick up on it until it was too late for me to do anything about it. The guy's flirting, but not in a good way. He wants to get in your pants and trying to see if you'll take the bait. When I didn't take the bait, it was too late for me to do anything about it when I later realized that I did want to sleep with the guy. Next time he asks if you want a golden shower, tell him you'd love one. See what he does next.

There's a point when they stop being funny and start being awkward and raunchy. I would hate to hang out with a guy like "The Tod" from Scrubs, it would be unbearable. but if I accidentally bust out a major "that's what she said" sort of thing, then you've got the right to embarrass me. and if we're driving down the road and we see "Long John's Hotdog Stand" then I'm gonna start laughing at it too. it all depends on the context and timing.

Chances are that he is offering you the chance to talk about sex. My guess is that he is hoping that that conversation might lead to sex. That is how I would do it. I generally don't talk to people about sex unless I am comfortable answering requests for sex from them.

I have more respect for girls that I like than just ordinary female friends. if I'm just friends with a girl, I'd throw all sorts of sexual innuendos and curse words at her, because that's how I typically talk to my friends.

Im the same way, to me its just that regardless of gender they are your friends. you know they like you for who you are, the girl you are trying to impress on the other hand doesn't know you well enough for you to goof off like that without thinking you're perverted and such

If I ever used sexual innuendos in front of a girl I like, she may not know me well enough, so I might come across as some kind of perverted creep to her. it doesn't matter what gender and sexual orientation are my friends, I can goof off whatever I want in front of them. but when it comes to a girl that I like, it takes time for her to appreciate me for who I am. I don't want her to get the wrong impression that I'm some kind of pervert but when I was actually joking.
