Are short girls with muscular legs really considered as disgusting and ugly?

I'm 150cm tall and I've had muscular calves since I was in primary school as I love cycling. This year, my calves got even more muscular as I've been going for jogs and I've been marching in parades and my female friends keep criticizing me about my calves, calling me manly, disgusting, ugly. Should I stop running and just let my muscles turn into fats? Or should I continue with my hobbies?

I think you need to stop worrying about the stature or your legs and start finding new friends who won't give you crap about your body type. Be happy with who you are and don't let the opinions of others drag you down, there is nothing wrong with having well built legs. I'd say make sure the rest of your legs are built as well so that everything looks proportioned and maybe slim down the muscles by focusing on cardio rather than weights (if you lift) and you'll be fine.

Shapely calves look good. What looks attractive is the calf/ankle differential.

If you've got muscular calves, when you WANT to dress up, a heel will allow your muscle to sit higher on your leg, making your legs look -good-.

They're not considered ugly at all. In high school I did theater with a girl who was maybe 5ft tall (just a smidge taller than you) and she had a thick build but she was a dancer so she was really muscular. Everyone thought she was really attractive.

I'd kick your female friends to the curb. You don't need to keep people around who'll criticize you when in fact you're being healthy.

anything in excess, in general can be bad. Lets suppose you do look manly, do what you like and don't let other people's opinion affect your personal life if it's what you love to do. I doubt it's that bad, but if you want more realistic opinions, post a pic with questions like these. why do you go by cm? :s

Personally I like women with muscular legs (within reason, don't go assuming I like jacked women on steroids ha).

I do notice most men seem to like women with skinny legs though. Even so, its not going to be a deal breaker at all, most people won't care. I'd guess your friends are just being immature, don't worry, it'll pass in time.

It all depends on how muscular your legs are, I mean can you still bend over and see your vag from behind or are your legs too thick that there's no gap? Have you tried it latley? Look in the mirror and see what you can see.

don't worry about my opinion. but I really find big calves on women unattractive. no matter how pretty in the face a girl is and slim the rest of her body, big calves are a hard turn-off for me. take minka kelly for instance. cankles are even worse. but do you to stay healthy and don't let me ruin your confidence.

That is crazy to think that people with in-shape legs are not good looking...in fact most guys I know are very attracted to toned girls. Keep up the cycling and enjoy it.

Unless you take some kind of enhancement like testosterone or steroids it will be impossible for you to be over-muscular. If you have toned legs I wouldn't be able to stop myself from staring at them. Keep up th good work.

Continue your hobbies. Girls with big muscular calf muscles are very beautiful. To be the bigger and leaner her calves are the better.
