Guys, are taller women really that emasculating?

Question

I meam come on, tall women deserve love too, not just petite and average size women. My short friends always had guys all over them and guys either pass right by me and ignore me. My friends are 5'2 and 5'5 and I'm 6'2. A guy told me no woman should be taller than 5'2 because it's emasculating.

Tall women can give you tall children. They very fact that by eating right and sleeping well during certain stages of development can help you get taller confirms that taller is better and healthier. There are even studies that show that taller babies are more intelligent (it doesn't translate to taller people being more intelligent as upbringing and so many other factors influence development of intelligence). Also humans in general are taller than they used to be which also has it's significance.

Tall girls also have long legs which is a very feminine trait. Being petite usually means thin/narrow frame meaning no curves so it's just a gentle sounding word describing boyish/unfeminine look.

So being tall is a good thing and you should be proud. You shouldn't obsess over it so much. Height isn't a big deal to most guys, but attitude is.

I think you are focusing way too much on your height as the sole reason for your lack of romantic luck. While it's an issue with some guys, there are probably other factors involved.

It's also pretty hypocritical to constantly be angry at guys for only going for shorter girls when I've read questions from you in the past where you yourself ONLY go for taller guys. Maybe instead of expecting guys to give your tallness a shot, you should give a shorter guy a shot.

Also, your guy friend that said all women should be 5'2 or shorter is an idiot.

Haha.. Emm... 75% of women are taller than 5' 2", so... he might have to loosen up his standards if he's to get anywhere.

But love your height! It's subconsciously and sometimes consciously noticeable when girls don't like their height, and it's off-putting. And yes, I agree with the posted who said women want taller men, and they know that. For me, since that IS important, I'm limited to the taller 50% of men (I'm 5' 10").. Not so bad... and I don't let anyone tell me I'm shallow... and I don't bemoan the situation either. I wish I were taller sometimes, but it suits my personality. It didn't used to.. I think there's a transition period for tall girls as they grow up and acclimate to and reconfigure personality-wise to their height. I know for a fact some guys find it a very attractive trait though.

First of all, he was obviously delusional, because most women are taller than 5'2". He's probably one those guys that has a 3 inch size dick, but runs around saying it's 9 inches. I really hope you don't take crazy seriously. Also, a 4'11" chick can emasculate a man, just as much as a 5'4" chick can and so on. If he feels emasculated by height, he's got nothing to show you in bed, move the fuck on and go give some other guys your numbers. You're 6'2" you don't have to be made to feel like your 2 inches tall because of some dick.

It's not ALL the guys. There are loads of guys who are willing to date taller women. If a guy doesn't like u just because of ur height, then he isn't even worth it.

While height seems to be a deal breaker with most guys, I don't see where it's really too big an issue. So what, you're taller than he is? That really shouldn't change anything. Of course there will be guys with the classic, closed mindset of "men must be bigger and taller". Those guys are the ones though who will have trouble finding someone special because of their superficial standards. A guy who finds a tall woman emasculating clearly doesn't have his priorities straight and may have his head up his ass.

I do find taller women attractive TBH, however I couldn't see myself in a relationship with a woman taller than me. I like really shirt girls like 5ft 0in - 5ft 4in. I do have a bunch of friends that like taller women so there are men for everyone, you'll be fine, the right man will come along for you.

No. I'd guess it's just them being insecure, so they go after smaller (and thus weaker) girls, because that way they're sure they'll be the one "wearing the pants". They'll be the strong and brave one.

Tall women can be beautiful.

I'm 5'6 and I am crushing so hard on a girl that's between 5'10-'511, she may even be 6'0 and she's the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. Her personality is just amazing, she's the kindest and the most genuine person I have ever met. She just ticks all the boxes and the worst part is that she doesn't know just how amazing she is. She doesn't intimidate me, she has me in awe of her.

I just wish I had a chance with such an amazing person.

Girls standing at 5'8 may not be a big issue.
Being taller than that may cause some problems but there are way too taller (and good looking) guys too for these girls.

I never had a problem with tall girls. I like tall girls, actually. If anything I thought it would be a problem for them because girls tend not to like guys shorter than they are.

No they aren't emasculating. Guys just know most women want a guy even taller than they are so we don't normally bother approaching a woman that is taller. It is similar to not asking out a woman that doesn't date outside her religion.
