Sounds like bed bugs, I had them. I was laying on my couch and seen this nasty little beetle so I grabbed it. I googled it because id never seen anything like it before and it was a bed bug. I was mortified, those things breed like crazy and it will turn into a nasty infestation. I moved the couch back and careful observed the area, I seen a Itty bitty baby one alive and killed it and found a few dead ones. Aswell there was husks of their skins left over from molts. Strip your mattress and pillow cases and inspect them. They like to hide under ridges and stuff and you will see there droppings, little black spots. I threw out my couch post haste, vacuumed, heat treated, pesticides, the works. I haven't seen them since but I went out and bought a plastic mattress encasing and pillow encasing, doubled up and moved my bed away from the wall. You have to gt rid of them all, eggs and everything or they'll never go away. I couldn't sleep for a week straight, I was itchy and felt like bugs were all over me. I'd jump up and switch on the light but nothing was there. Really fucked with my mental state.

It could be bed bugs.
When I went to Europe I got bit by bed bugs, but thankfully they didn't travel with me. I've heard horrible stories about people bringing bed bugs from hotels into their home and having an infestation.18 Reply- +1 y

Bed bugs are a pain in the butt. But less so than head lice. My family got head lice 3 different times and everyone but me had it all 3 times :D But it was really annoying to deal with... have to clean the entire house thoroughly and clean or get rid of all stuffed animals and anything with fabric... have to vacuum a lot... not to mention the fact that you have to either cut off all your hair or go through treatment that takes a long time and is not fun at all... plus being super itchy. My sisters kept getting it from their friends and bringing it home. It was really annoying. eventually they stopped hanging around this very specific person and coincidentally they've never gotten it again lol

+1 yIt could be a best of spiders living under your bed, fleas, bed bugs, or who knows what else. Wash all your bedding and dry it in a machine and vacuum the house thoroughly. If you're still getting bites after that you'll have to call in an exterminator to figure out what it is.

+1 yI hope it's not bed bugs :( I had bed bugs in the summer and they had to heat treat my entire apartment. It was a lot of work. I would google bed bug bites and see if they look like what you have.
Don't feel bad if you do have them. They are incredibly common.10 Reply
+1 yIt sounds like bed bugs. Look to see if your bites are in deliberate lines (bite lines), and check the top of the mattress for little blood smears. That happens when a bed bug gets a meal, then you crush it in your sleep. Also, look around the seam lines for black waste stains.

Maybe you take on an alter ego when you're asleep and go out and do stuff that results in bruises
