According to the BMI you are a little overweight so maybe some exercise would help, but don't go too far the other way :). The BMI will give you unbiased, fair and medically accurate information about what weight is best for your health, which is the most important thing. There's even more exact calculations that you can try where you measure your wrists etc. So I'd go off that if I was you. Don't let yourself be influenced by other people, media etc.

You're probably about 30-40lbs overweight so not massively overweight. I put that much on when I was injured and couldn't train for a while, took me about 2-3 months to get rid of it with weight training and boxing.
