What sickness do I have?

There was this one time, at school, a small amount of our blood is going to be tested by the school clinic to check if some of us have anemia.
I didn't feel nervous about the needle because it's totally fine with me. Once blood was taken out, I started to feel dizzy. Moments later, while everyone was busy watching the others have their bloods checked, I planned to go out to get some fresh air. But by the doorway, I felt really dizzy. The surroundings turned yellow for a moment. My friend said I was really pale. I also noticed my sweating and shaking hands.

Also, when I accidentally cut on my finger with a blade, blood was already dripping on the floor and on my foot so I guess it was a pretty deep cut. Due to that, I felt the same symptoms from above.

Based on clinical results, I don't have anemia. So if I don't have that, then what sickness am I experiencing?

You got lightheaded. It's normal... you came close to passing out. Did you eat much throughout the day before it happened? Cause sometimes that can help, but some people are just like that. The first time I had my blood drawn that happened to me, and I actually passed out during the pig dissection in high school, but I had barely eaten anything. Since then I've gone to ORs and watched surgeries and deal with lots of blood, guts and other stuff no problem. I just learned what was causing it for me... I wasn't eating enough and I was almost hyper focused on it. You don't have anything, especially not anemia unless your CBC shows low Hgb levels.

That can happen when blood is drawn. They're supposed to sit you down with usually some juice and a little something to eat to make sure you don't collapse as soon as you walk out the door.

I don't think you're sick, but definitely bring it up if that happens when you don't have sudden blood loss.

Maybe you subconsciously trigger something when you see blood which makes you feel ill? If it's only in the moment and doesn't last long I don't think it's anything serious but I'm no doctor (!!) if you'd feel safer speaking to a professional, go ahead. It might be a good idea.

You have just lost a lot of blood. Seems like they are not really good nurses in your clinic.

Not a disease, just weakness at the loss of blood
