How do I get taller? What is the average height and what height do women prefer?

I'm currently only 5'7 and at 18, that's not the height I want to be at all. My girlfriend is around 5'4 and basically is afraid to wear heels because she'd be taller than me. My confidence is very quickly leaving me. What can I do to get taller?
