Is sky diving dangerous? have you ever done it before?

Thinking of going sky diving but still not sure. What's your thoughts?

You're apparently at a higher risk of fatality driving your car everyday than going skydiving. It might seem terrifying but the practical risk of it is quite low.

I did it one time. Since I didn't have the training, I had to do it in tandem with an instructor. The feeling is not what you might imagine it to be. You don't get that sense of falling like you do with a bungee jump (I actually think bungee jumping is a little bit scarier now). Instead you feel like you're just floating above the world with tons of wind pushing up against you.

I'd really recommend it if you're considering it. It's quite a unique experience.

Skydiving is very safe, it's just the landings that are troublesome.

It;s funny to see this question. I'm actually going on Thursday. I'm a bit nervous but I am excited at the same time. I'm doing it in Niagara Falls. Since it's my first time it will be Tandem.
