As a younger teen I used random facial washes and washed my face often but still had acne. Then when I left home and had money, bought my own dreams and facial washes and my skin has been baby skin since. It's not expensive stuff. It costs me £5 a month overall but using chemicals tht work with you and work together make all the difference. So yes
Yes.
I have more dry skin, and my sister has very oily skin. She tried using my facial cleansers and moisturizers and it totally messed up her skin for a few days. Best to stick with what you need.
Well I just use soap, that's all. I wash my face in the shower with the same stuff I use in my body. If I need to wash during the day or before I go to bed, I use the same soap.

Of course! If you have oily skin never use products for dry skin and vice versa! That will just worsen your problems
Im pretty sure products for dry skin is certainly a bad idea for those with oily skin as it will just make it more oily... And using oily skin products on dry skin is just gonna make it even more dry... Of course it matters.
Of course you do, especially if you suffer from acne or other skin conditions.
