Have you ever been completely nude at a check up? Dude, it's the same for women. It totally depends on what your check up is for: if you're at an ENT, you don't need to be nude for them to check your hearing and look at your larynx; but if you're getting a full skin check at the dermatologist, you'll need to remove some clothing. Also, even when you need to strip at the doctor, they give you some sort of gown to put on. That's a policy across the board.
