Anyone who quit smoking weed?

I am smoking weed heavily since last 4 years. Tried to quit many times but couldnt. Longest period I quit was nearly 3 months. I just can't handle stress without weed and feel depressed. Is there anyone who quit. How long before you started feeling normal? Help me quit please.

I used to smoke every day for the past 2 years, and now I light a joint once a week. It's hard to quit for good for me too and now that I'm consuming less weed I'm feeling better than when I used it heavily. For me, the best solution was to stop smoking it alone and just smoke it with my friends which is on weekends. You can try making yourself busy by doing something you like, like a hobby or something you're passionate about. Let THAT be your new 'drug'. MJ is not physically addictive, but when you use it like you or me you get that psychological dependence and you GOTTA light it now and calm yourself down. I don't think weed is the problem, the better question is what is bugging you so much that you need to calm yourself down? I couldn't handle overwhelming emotions and smoking a joint would make me not care about them, so I started questioning that as well, started talking to my friends. I'd like to smoke less of course, but I guess that even if you make a little step it's better than being high all day. Also you can get yourself in situations where you can't smoke it (I don't know if you live in a country where it's legal, here it's not, so I couldn't smoke it in public ofc). And tell your best friend about it, especially if you smoke together, like you can agree together that you won't buy it or make a bet to see who can stay longer without consuming it.

I am lonely got no friends girlfriend life sucks weed just makes me feel as if I am in a virtual world. I am addicted to weed, porn. masturbation. I want to stop it and change myself forever. Cuz of my addictions could never get a girl or complete my studies. I am under burden of regret and to get out of that feeling I smoke again Then I realize I am wasting my precious time try to quit again and again its like a circle can't get out of it!! I never ever imagined weed and porn can be addictive!

Dude seriously? There's no addictive properties in THC. Quit being a pansy.

No man it isn't addictive like other hardcore drugs but quitting it makes feel so depressed and aggresive for no reason. Believe me it effects mental health.
