Anyone here a pharmacologist? I was wondering why we can't deal with the antibiotics crisis by engineering bacteriophage viruses?

From what highschool and college have told me about how it works, it sounds like it shouldn't be too much of a problem to make them invisible to our white blood cells either. although I'm sure there're a dozen different reasons my idea is idiotic, so let's hear them.

It's a good idea actually. The thing is just because it is inside doesn't mean it has zero effect. Some bacteria can manipulate the host to do what it wants as to release toxins or multiply. They can basically join the virus DNA and mess it up.
Another thing is with medication the physical and chemical properties causes the medication to be concentrated where it is needed lowering the toxicity to the healthy parts.
It's a long long topic but it's always good to be open minded to new ideas
