And yes, you may be short but there are plenty of short women that are looking for short men. I'm 4ft 11 inches and weigh 100 pounds. Do you think I should break my legs because it will make me appear more beautiful? No because beauty standards are stupid. You'll find someone (believe me). You may find it easier to date a short girl because at least she probably won't judge you based on your height. No. I'm pretty sure no woman wants a guy to go through that, and would not want a guy that would go through that just for vanity.

Honestly, I think you're kinda screwed either way. If you're under 5'6 and you don't do the surgery then most women will reject you for being short. However, if you do the surgery and they find out about it then most will dump you for being insecure/mentally unstable.

In my opinion, from reading the comment that she made, I think she is taking height way out of proportion. You were born the way that you are and there is NOTHING wrong with that. Why should you have to go through an extremely painful and traumatic experience and pay a large amount of money, because some girl thinks that you need to change? Find someone who appreciates you for your height, weight, looks, personality, character, and heart, not someone who is so consumed by the society's deemed height requirements for a guy that she wants to make you feel like you don't deserve anything. Not just her. but many girls say a guy needs to be a certain height, and nothing would get her past it. I hate that people don't even want to open up to me, and it is my fault.. and this is the only way i can change it seems. She's the only one who told me to get surgery, but i feel like it could be brutal honesty. Other men even younger than me don't respect me if they're taller let alone guys my own age. Girls usually say im too short. But It really feels like, get the surgery, hope it fixes everything, or try to go life entertaining myself til i die.
