From everything I have seen, including close friends, a high level of regular vigorous exercise prevents much of the fat tissue from developing in girls breast, that would normally be there. That's not to say that some girls would not naturally have small breasts anyway, but I think that many might have larger breasts if they didn't have a routine and life style of vigorous activity.
I follow girls MMA fighting to a certain extent and none of them have large breasts and when you look at most other female athletes, large breasts is not one of their trademarks that sticks in your mind. Obviously there are excepts and you will see some large breasted athletic girls from time to time.

Is it true that highly athletic girls have smaller breasts?
1. Well fit girls have a less percentage of fat in the first place. So they will has smaller boobs than if that specific person had higher percentage. Cause then they're boob size will increase. So most girls with low body fat have their "standard" size. Which will the increase if the body fat percentage increases.
2. There are girls that have a bigger boon size naturally and a bigger standard. And these girls sometimes have a harder time having a sports career since it can become an impediment.
So yeah girls who professionally play sports because they have less body fat than the average woman. And because girls with a natural bigger size boob don't tend to play sports professionally
Smaller percent of body fat = smaller breasts. It's inevitable. The size of breasts are somewhat due to genetics, but the size depends a lot on body fat percentage as well. Of course they could get breast implants if they wanted to, but a big bust is often a liability in competitive sports.
It's not just the prevention of the fat tissue that make up large breasts, it's also the heavy development of the peck muscles (especially the lower pecs) that alter the shape of the breasts and make them seem smaller because of how the body naturally holds them in my opinion. It creates a more traditionally masculine chest structure.
That having been said I still find Rhonda Rousey sexy, it's just... Yeah it is a trade off in this one department (athletic girl's leg tone and butt tone though... 🤤... You know what, I think I'm just super attracted to every girl body type... 😂😂)
Breasts are mostly made of fat, lowering your body fat percentage reduces the total amount of fat in your body, which includes the fat in your breasts.
In other words, yes, having low body fat is going to make your breasts considerably smaller, unless you have freak genetics and still retain a lot of fat in breasts even when you are skinny in other places.
When you sport a lot, you burn fat. Athletic bodies are low fat (I am around 15%). Since a great part of the breast is fat, their size will also diminish. That is why most athletic girls are A to B, max C.
Usually yes, and girls with small breasts are more likely to become athletes/tomboys, because big breasts are sexy but limiting, so it's works in both ways.
I think it depends. This is Jeanette Ottesen, a famous swimmer, and she has normal sized breasts even though her upper body is extremely strong (they look smaller than they are because of her strong arms and back)
I think that smaller can added a ease of movement and perhaps even advantages in balance that many large breasted girls struggle with. Therefore more smaller breasted women are attracted or succed in these athletic interest. When my girl runs or rides horses her boobs flop and swing around no matter how good her sports bra is. She complains about discomfort. Personally I love it.

it tends that way if they've been working out a lot at an early age as early working out can delay the onset and process of puberty. additionally if they do a lot of pectoral workouts it will reduce the fat in the pecs thus reducing the size of breasts
I went with option C cause I as much as I know that the training involved with being an athlete since childhood will damage muscle growth as well as I’m shore as you said fat growth... but I also know that big boobs are incredable difficult to be active with... I think that the females who do go fare are more naturally smaller breasted!
There's 2 parts to this. Breasts are partially made from fat. Reducing your fat percentage by working out reduces the fat there too.
The second part is that women with small breasts are usually better at sports because quite frankly breasts get in the way and slow you down. That's why a large amount of professional female athletes would he on the smaller side.
It's mainly women who have ridiculously low bodyfat levels that have small breasts, that's what makes the difference. The girl playing tennis doesn't have the same low bodyfat as the MMA fighters or the runners, that's why hers aren't small.
Large breasts are body fat. If you drive your body fat low, as weight class driven or endurance atheletes do, they're unlikely to have large breasts, though genetics plays a role.

Yes, it's mostly true, and I like it.
Guys who like athletic girls usually don't care much about large breasts. I'm a leg-man.
I knew only one athletic girl who had large breasts, she was a football/soccer player.
But most sporty girls I know actually have smaller or medium size breasts.
Could work the other way round. Exercise is much less enjoyable with larger breasts, and many women struggle in sports where this is the case (for example gymnasts' careers can be ruined by puberty)
It has to do with body fat ratios, and female athletes who are muscular and lean will tend to have smaller breasts, because breasts are mostly fatty tissue. There are always "exceptions", so I'm talking about the bell curve here.
Exercise does slightly increase testosterone levels so it would actually make sense that the breast size may not be so big. Another factor could also be that perhaps larger breasts deters women from exercising.
I don't think such a correlation exists. What I do believe is the other way. I believe, for top-heavy women, many sporting movements and motion must be uncomfortable, if not painful. So that perhaps discourages them from many sports.
From my experience I would have to agree, and those athletic girls with larger breasts tend to wear sports bras, which also make them appear smaller

If all of their fat, doesn't go to their breasts, then yeah, sure.. but that's how it is with all other women. It's all about fat distribution and where it winds up going, for many, it really is the breasts
Your point of view is correct, their body fat is less hence their boobs are small, but their sex drive is very high... It's not easy to satisfy a fit woman for sure
Yes, when you lose weight and gain muscles you fat in the breast tissue will be smaller, so highly athletic girls have smaller boobs. Also some athletes gets breast reduction to perform better. This doesn't apply to all sports of course.
Yeah, they usually have smaller boobs. Its usually because exercise burns the fat in the chest area and sometimes they surgically reduce their boob size so they can play with ease.
