Do guys really care about thigh gaps?

I saw a YouTube video recently where a guy said that men couldn't care less if a girl has a thigh gap or not, but I couldn't bring myself to truly believe that cuz many people care about looks.

I personally don't prefer it. It's certainly not a deal breaker but I typically see it on girls who are too thin. Keep in mind I don't go for fat girls either; there's a lower limit and an upper limit. Generally speaking if you're within the healthy range for your age and height I won't have an issue with your appearance as far as weight is concerned. If you Google height weight calculators you'll find a few of them to give you an idea of what I mean. Most of the "female body standards" are perpetuated by competition between women because they share the need to stand out among the rest so they'll get approached by guys. Ultimately things like the thigh gap aren't worth your attention. As long as you're kind, considerate, dress nicely (i. e. don't walk around half naked plastered in makeup or covered in dirt) and aren't a whale or a skeleton you don't have much to worry over. I tend to avoid girls who go nuts with their appearance or who look like they've slept around anyway. I'm more attracted to modesty so the excessive effort is a turn off. Unfortunately I encounter less and less modesty as time goes on.

Am I the only dude that doesn't get this whole new fad about thigh gap? I mean A - I prefer there to not be one if I'm asked by a girl, and B - as much as I am all about... that region... of a woman's body I don't think I'd really notice until she drew my attention to if she does or doesn't have one.

This whole issue makes me feel old 😂😂 I don't remember anyone even talking about thigh gaps when I was a teen. I genuinely don't get why there are some guys that like them so much either.

I can't deny that there seems to be a current trend of guys liking thigh gaps. But to what extent? To be honest, I don't know. I have heard guys say they like thigh gaps, but many others prefer no gap or a woman with curvy, "thick" hips and thighs. In my estimation, I'd say more guys do not require a thigh gap to find a woman attractive. Female attractiveness is SO much more varied that just one look. For me, a thigh gap is not necessary at all. Although, I have a VERY wide range of what I find beautiful, from skinny to large women and everything between. But do I think the majority of guys prefer a thigh gap? I'd say not. Although, this could vary depending on what country or region you live in too.

Thigh gaps are nice, just like many other nice looking physical characteristics are. But it's just part of a package, and in the over all scheme, thigh gaps don't mean much. There are more important physical attributes, And what she is like as a person, is much more important.

Nope, I didn't even know thigh gaps were a thing until fairly recently. I honestly view it as unattractive because it shows the person cares more about looks than actually being healthy.

No. For a start men on average prefer skirts to trousers so even if you had a thigh gap in an ideal case he wouldn't know. Secondly I'm pretty sure this was popularized by women trying to plug yoga pants on YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, etc, not by men.
