He has an OK physique but nothing extraordinary.
Actually, I would refrain from dating anyone with a physique like that. This type of guy is a red flag that says "take a detour because I am fake"
Just look at his face and expression. This is the face of someone that has only reached his physique so he can pick-up girls. There is nothing is his appearance that tells me that he is a keeper, au contraire!
That is the macho type of person that, once he got you in bed, will just put a number on his list of body counts.
What would you consider extraordinary? I don't think you can make that assumption about a person without knowing them, but thanks for your opinion
I think that would be considered ordinary then because it's normal. Isn't it healthy to have a hobby though? But I guess I get what you are saying
Whoever this Joey d is, he does NOT have a perfect physique according to my criteria.
But he may have for a few other people. That is the beauty of having different tastes.
And since you asked the question, I hope you did not expect everyone to say yes and drool all over him.
Should this Joey be you, then I am sorry for having perhaps hurt your feelings.
Beauty and physique is all relative!
Yes it's me ðŸ˜
I don't understand. "An extraordinary physique is the one of a normal guy that has other priorities than his muscles." But a physique IS about body image, it IS the shape of the body - muscles, tonality, size, etc. Are you arguing that an out of shape or skinny guy has a better / more masculine body style than this guy?
@Blightly the physique is the form, size, and development of a person's body.
You may have a different perception of what is aesthetic than what I do. To me, equally if not more important is the intellectual physique if you want. The development of the way I perceive a person can interact with me is so much more important than physical interaction.
But again, this type of body is not what I am looking for in a person because it shows me that it has taken way too much importance for me to consider a person that is balanced intellectually and physically.
You cannot gain that type of muscle by just jogging one hour every day. You need to be constantly on the go and probably using some steroids at a point. Notice I said probably.
Maybe he just works out for that hour that normal people use to watch Netflix, why does that mean he is less intellectual? You don't need to be constantly on the go, you're right though you will probably need steroids if you have poor genetics
We're not talking about interpersonal relationship skills. We're talking about outer beauty. That's why a picture was included in this post and not a description of his character. We're not talking about how nice of a guy he could be. Is he or isn't he physically attractive / masculine / the right proportions for an ideal guy / etc. I understand if too much muscle is too much muscle, but saying 'he has a lot of muscle so therefore he has bad relationship skills / he's not smart / etc.' is absolutely absurd.
Are you saying someone can't be highly intelligent and work out really hard? I'm sure that guy has an understanding of metabolism, calories, nutrients, etc. that would rival almost any nutritionist and health adviser.
I had friends that were in the unfortunate situation where the relations ranked 2nd far, far behind the gym, training, iron pumping sessions and all the activities associated with the cult of the body.
Even with good genetics you cannot keep up with that type of body.
It boils down to the fact that I would never go out or even have a date with a person like that just because experience has shown me that it never works on the long run.
I am sorry but I will have to pass. I am sure that there are plenty of nice and good girls here that will find you attractive.
@Blightly ok, let's start talking about the outer beauty if that is what you wish.
Just one example: Protruding veins on the arms is a sign of a very thin skin which in turn makes it a high risk for deep layer skin cancer (melanoma/basal cell carcinoma) and white skin cancer (which is relatively harmless).
Again, everyone is entitled to his/her opinion and I thank you for trying hard to make me see your point of view.
in a state of relaxedness had his veins protruded significantly I'd agree. But, with my personal experience with going to the gym, the reason his veins are doing that is because he worked his arms hard before the photo to get pumped. blood engorges the veins and it looks like what you see in the photo.
then let me ask you. what is the ideal [outer body] physique that a man should aspire to?
@Blightly Every man should do what he thinks suits his body type best. You cannot expect a person that suffers from Prader-Willi syndrome to look like young Arnold Schwarzenegger. Physiology, diet, motivation and a few other factors influence the way the image and physique develop. To a certain extend, you can influence it but not always.
Believe it or not, there’s some people who are still not attracted to his body. I’d honestly take a dad bod over his any day.
Is that based on assumptions you make about his personality do you think? Or you'd feel insecure with him?
It’s based mostly on maintenance. To have that kind of body he must really put in effort and restrictions to so many things, and the partner has to be the same way or else she’ll be looked upon. Healthy is sexy but I believe there should also be a balance and the sacrifice will be not having a perfect physique in exchange for having fun together and being comfortable with each other.
If he wouldn’t mind me not having a similar physique, I’ll still feel insecure because I’d feel like I’m not good enough for him.
You're right, it's his job to look like that, but that would feed into their personal life a lot, not being able to go out to eat and things like that, I understand that
A little less six pack and he'd be perfect to me. He is still good but needs a more hair to date
So he's just a little too lean? Do you mean body hair?
I want something soft to sleep on, not a big fan of six packs, strong arms are a big plus though and he has perfect arms! I'd love somebody hair, cause no body hair reminds me of women
He looks high maintenance, I wouldn't want to be around a person like him.
The most sought-after physique is a flat stomach and chest, that's it. You don't need a six pack and firm-as-steel pecs.
Not perfect, his hip bones are too wide and shoulder are too narrow to be considered perfect. He is in excellent shape though. V tapper is the important thing and he's basically just a box.
True I guess I was just referring his muscle mass, no so much his genetics

It's a good physique but he could never compete with this
more guys than girls are obsessed with his body. That should be your first clue that he's not perfect. ;)
