An eidetic memory is being able to only look at something or hear something once but have a faithful and accurate remembrance for that image or auditory sound. Not to be confused with photographic memory which is virtually impossible, and eidetic memory doesn't last forever, but for a while.
It is also extremely rare in adults.

I have always been jealous of people with eidetic memory. I have a really good memory... most of the time. I can remember vividly things that happened when I was little. But nowhere close to what those people can do.

I read about historical person who have the same memory. He covered one page of the book so he didn’t confused with the other page he read it. I was not so sure but know if such memory exist I believe that
