He keeps getting cooler and cooler! He says he only has to look at his scripts once!

An eidetic memory is being able to only look at something or hear something once but have a faithful and accurate remembrance for that image or auditory sound. Not to be confused with photographic memory which is virtually impossible, and eidetic memory doesn't last forever, but for a while.
It is also extremely rare in adults.
