In the UK it seems they want to keep the emergency powers and fear going as long as possible so they can jab as many people as they can. Once they've jabbed the vast chunk of the population, that's when they can introduce their apartheid digital id system which will permanently exclude those who don't comply. However, they can't do this unless there's an emergency. Hence, the variants, and all the other means of manipulating the figures. As I always say beyond September we have respiratory virus season, where, along with probable weakened immune systems due to vaccines, the cases and deaths are going to absolutely shoot through the roof. That's where they can introduce this digital id system 'for our safety' and so we can 'go back to normal'.
All this tyranny, all the media coverage, all the raping of our liberties, when there was 3 deaths today... In a population of 67 million where 1500 die per day anyway.

As long as vaccinations are carried out worldwide, I don't think there will be any more big lockdowns. Australia seems to have a problem, as their vax prog is a bit slow. We also have the option of tweaking vaccines if another variation of concern comes along.

"Indian", if you please. Humoring the overly credulous is exactly how this nonsense got started- and on the off chance they're right, I'd rather not have innocent Greeks getting attacked. It's taken an appallingly long time, but even the rank-and-file of humanity is growing pretty doubtful about the nonsense being peddled- they may not yet have the intellectual honesty to admit that locking down was a catastrophic mistake, and that this all could've ended last summer if they'd simply gone out and built herd immunity, but they've reached the point where they're patience is running mighty thin. I don't think most people outside of the crumpet zone would stand for another attempt.

vaccination works well enough against these variants. Delta is around in my city but cases are still dropping week over week as our vaccination rates shoot upward. That said we still have a lot of restrictions in place. Our health system got slammed in wave 3 and they're being extremely careful leaving the restrictions that got put in. But they are slowly removing restrictions and cases still dropping.
areas with low vaccine rates some of them will increase restrictions and then relax them as various waves (weather , timing and variant related) ebb and flow.
Yes I think we probably will. I already myself to the feeling of going into a lockdown every autumn and winter for the next few years because Covid didn´t come to leave soon. As long as there place left that can grow a hotspot and create a variant there will be others coming in the future.

It really depends on the success of the vaccines at preventing serious illness and death. If infections are rising but hospitalisations are not then that's about as good a situation as we can expect and there will be no real justification for lockdowns anymore. So far the early signs are that this is the case, that the vaccine is working as expected.

The problem here is that the vaccine can just about stop you dying from the virus - but not from spreading it or it's long term effects. Thus the door is open for more variants and unless people learn to fucking clean themselves properly and behave, then they'll just make lockdowns necessary.

Countries are still going in and out of lock downs. A lot don't have their borders open still. It's just how it's going to be until most people are vaccinated.

As long as the vaccines we have for the moment show efficacy against the new variants, there shouldn't be need for a lockdown. If there is one capable of bypassing the vaccines, then there is the possibility of it, yes.

Page 12 contains Table 4, a breakdown of how many people were considered infected and how many people died, broken down by the amount of shots and duration.
I ignore the Unlinked since its irrelevant for the argument i am making here and we can't know what is what in that category.
So lets do the calculation for the rest of them.
Unvaccinated : 35,521 cases, 34 deaths. So 34/35,521*100=0,10% that means out of the known cases only 0,10% died so its roughly a 0,10% chance of death. This is our baseline, a very low chance of death that to me isn't worth risking side effects for, but since we are comparing the differences lets move on and see if a vaccine is effective.
One vaccine shot less than 21 days ago : 1 death / 4094 cases * 100 = 0,02% chance of death.
Because of the low death count this might be an anomaly, but if we take it at face value that would demonstrate the vaccine drastically lowered the chance of death, so it would show our first evidence the vaccine is effective! Good news for the vaccinated, so lets see how that effect develops over time.
One vaccine shot more than 21 days ago : 10 deaths divided by 9,461 cases * 100 = 0.11% so back to mildly higher than our original unvaccinated scenario. Pattern wise i expect the mild increase to be margin of error. So i conclude that the potential effect the vaccine had expires very quickly at least with just one dose. Everything is back to the regular baseline as if they did not have the vaccine.
But thats the first dose, we do a second dose for a reason right? Here they don't follow the same pattern for some reason, so we can't make the right after and long term effect. We can only look at what happens 2 weeks after the second dose.

So admittedly i did make a dot typo in my initial response, its not 63x its 6.3x but thats still 6 times higher chance of death from getting the delta variant if you take the vaccine. So your chance of death is now 530% higher for having taken it.
And this is fully ignoring the side effects alone, this is only people dying from the disease. So what i am saying while initially typed wrong, isn't something i just made up. Its the data from your own government showing this.
But i understand there is more nuance involved, which is why i said in the best case scenario its ineffective (As we can see since these deaths are the same a few weeks after the first dose) and in the worst case scenario 6 times higher (As we can see from the statistics after 2 shots) based on this data. Who knows what will happen to people who are much further out or what the long term effects will be.
Its your choice what you do with this information, i just want you to be able to make an informed choice and felt this was relevant for you to know since this is based on the emerging variant that you'd be trying to vaccinate against.

Its very vounter productive on his part, so much so he could be doing this on purpose to make people like me with legitimate concerns and warnings look bad. I know these injections hijack cells (similar to how a virus would) to produce a spike protein like this diseases spike protein. You are effectively covid positive now but that fact you are positive is normal with vaccines. The abnormal part is the fact they are producing the element that caused people to die (the spike protein) using your own cells. But because of the way these vaccines work it spreads all over your body rather than be focussed in your lungs.
So best case scenario is if you would have only gotten mild symptoms from the corona virus and you only get mild symptoms now, survive the same risk with the second dose (or choose not to take it) and then survive the increased risk of this setting off a chain reaction / auto immune disorder when the real one arrives in the winter.
That is where my concerns are. With the fact this type of vaccine is about the unsafest you could possibly do. Rather than injecting people with a weakened version of the virus. And given we officially are only on varient 4 (Which i don't believe) it would not make sense to do this type of vaccine. It would be much safer to immunize with a weakened version of tge virus that can't replicate like most vaccines.
The world is getting back to normal if there ever was such a thing. Citizens will not submit to another lockdown. Most people have no faith in the government and are suspicious of all the arbitrary rules that favored big political donors and ruined small businesses which are probably 90% Trump supporters.

This happened in Israel but because they were all vaccinated they didn't die from it. The vaccine gives 100% chance from chance of dying which is the important thing. It also subdues severe symptoms and gives you asymptomatic symptoms.
