I've stopped smoking for 8 days to get a job if i want trying to get a job with the post office id be smoking weed right now been a daily userr since 19 been drinking a lot more because of it

no, don't touch either of it by choice. grew up around those party drugs in the family/extended family, it was fun times. never smoked. alcohol... never took a liking to it. I don't like how people behave and it's dangerous. Seen too many people killed because nervous systems were shut down by their hand to mouth issue.

I'd rather work out, ride a bike, enjoy a food, or fast, pray, help someone else. drugs are low on my list unless there is pain I can't deal with.

Reality is... drugs are a way to keep things as they are.. avoidance. If you don't like how things are, then drugs is the wrong solution... change is the only way out... via suffering. The only value for drugs is to enjoy a moment. But I'd rather do that with a fully coherent mind.

That’s fair, I mainly smoke weed to reduce stress, mainly because of politics it’s my way of not thinking about it, I know it will have and effect on my life. Like why was a 24 pack of Pepsi now 15$ when it was 9$ Drink has become a replacement.

I understand. My girlfriend reminds me to turn off the news and that junk. Negative has power, the media knows that. I did the same at your age... after work, I'd watch the news while working at home on computer. Stress ontop of stress. I finally realized, it's all the worst of the worst, and of things I have little influence. Turned off! Back then
Church talked about this issue this weekend... the theme being, turn off the negative news and work on being thankful, practice gratitude, empathy and compassion. Then, you will get the natural medicines from inside and won't need the external one. If you want it, that's your choice, I'm fine with it.

The govt has always been doing this, and society messes, in our lifetime and these cycles repeat (debt collapses, rebellions, etc..), fuel was $.10 a gallon in 1900's. We lost a lot post Korea and vietnam wars. China did a number on us... and so we handed them the keys to the kingdom under Nixon/Kissinger by building their infrastructure. Wealth is not well distributed. Our society, we let be infiltrated and values eroded.
And that Pepsi isn't made out of the quality ingredients it used to... it's total garbage now. don't touch it. I don't... used to drink soda.

So, work on building a family and a life of value, plan and do best you can and live life. If you are livingto your fullest potential, then no regrets. If you sit around consuming and dwelling the worst, you will be stressed.

Right my thing I don’t know if god exist, I use to god to church as a kid but was made fun of to the point I left and never went back, braking my 200$ skateboard was the last straw. I figured I wanted nothing to do with them. So I don’t go to church any more I haven’t been for 12 years. Unfortunately in the town I’m in it a bar stool or the Bible kind of town. Figured try to find a girl at the bar but I’m old fashioned and only spending 100 a week, I had a job during the summer and trying to get one at the post office for the winter. The 2 closes towns are an hour drive away the population is 3,407 Yakima is a lot bigger same with the Dallas but gas is so expensive it’s really not going to them unless you have to.

As fair as soda goes I like flavor and not a coffee drinker so soda is my go to wake up drink, Alcohol allows me to sleep at night because I worked graveyard for 4 years before I went to CWU unfortunately a lot of people on the far left even there

I never touched it and to be honest only ever drink when I am out with friends. I never grew up with much so any thing I felt I would enjoy that much I never tried because I wasn't going to be able to throw money around.
