Have you ever competed in anything?

I used to be a competitive Irish dancer (random I know)
I was pretty good at it. I would win regionals every year (which wasn’t hard because there weren’t many male dancers so I was competing against like 6 people lol), I won 3rd at nationals, and 11th in the world.

My teacher always said I had the potential to be a world champion but I was too lazy to work for it tbh.

it was very expensive so I eventually quit because I couldn’t afford it anymore. Shoes were like $200, lessons were thousands a year, traveling to completion cost us thousands (I would travel to Ireland/Scotland for championships) , etc. My mom was always grateful I was a male dancer tho because the dresses for women were $2000 so that was a plus lol.

Lots of things but I'll tell you about the best.
I had a Shetland Sheepdog that I bought as a puppy and
at about 1 year old I started taking her to obedience classes.
I worked with that dog every day and she was so smart.
After about 6 months worth of classes we had a competition
among the maybe 15 dogs and owners in the class.
We took 1st place and I was as proud as I could be because this
wasn't just a show dog, these were obedience trials that normal
dogs just can't handle. I still shake my head when I see people
walking their dogs and the dog out front pulling them by the leash.

not to that level... except for the academic competitions I was forced into by the school, as a child... lol

I did cheerleading when I was in middle school. We did cheer competitions. I wasn’t the best at it because I was a very shy, anxious, introverted girl (ironic, I know… A cheerleader being introverted?). Anyways, I was either the flyer or the base, where I would be thrown up in the air, or caught another girl being thrown up in the air.
I think our cheer squad got second place? It was a mess, lol, I barely remember it but we were not very skilled as a whole.

I was a distance runner and ran a lot of different races of various distances from 10K to a 26 mile marathon.
