Trending & News I used to be a bouncer for a living, so yeah. And I never "lost" a fight, either. Most of the dudes who go to nightclubs and the bars I worked at were these upper middle class pussies who act like hot sh*t and think they can boss people around cause they have money, then they meet someone who doesn't put up with their crap and act like the scared little pussies they are, and threaten to sue you and call their daddy on you, just like a little b*tch. I weigh almost 300 pounds, and not all of that is just "fat."
When I worked at a place in 2015, I had this one dude, who was like 6'6", 170 lbs, and the biggest yuppie ever, treat everyone like garbage. Verbally, he can say whatever he wants, though. He has free speech. But then he got drunk and started messing with other men's ladies. This led to one guy getting mad (the guy was like 5'9" or 5'10", so the douchebag thought he could take him in a fight), and I had to come in to "save the day." I dragged his ass out of there, which is procedure so no one gets hurt.
Once outside of the club, he thought he could swing on me, but came at me like a mile a minute. He was drunk, but not so drunk he couldn't fight well; he was just sh*t at fighting. I grabbed his wrist, put him in hammerlock, then took both of my arms and put him in a sleeperhold, until my backup arrived. He legit almost passed out. When I let go, he was scared out of his life. He kept saying "I almost passed out! I could've died! Imma sue the sh*t outta you!" and all this crap. And yeah, the tone of his voice did sound shaken and scared. Of course, douchebags like this usually have priors and know damn well the law is not on their side, no matter how much money he has. Plus, we had CCTV in the club so he couldn't - and didn't - do sh*t.
This was common when I was a bouncer. Funnily enough though, most of the fights are either started BY women, or due to a woman. If it's just dudes hanging out, almost no fights happen. You bring a girl into a club, guys turn into cavemen, or women get White Girl Wasted and sh*t happens. I'm not "blaming" women for fights happening in clubs; just saying they almost ALWAYS involve a woman.
The other funny thing is, although I'm trained in several forms of martial arts, I wouldn't call myself an expert in any of them. I suck at most of them, except MMA and kickboxing. But I'm still better than like 95-99% of the average men out there who do no martial arts or hand-to-hand combat at all.
Another thing is, I don't get heated or emotional in fights. I know damn well I'm a loose cannon, and I would legit injure or kill someone if I lost my cool. I'm not trying to do prison time for breaking someone's neck or permanently putting their lights out, so I remain cool in most situations like this. I'm not afraid to fight anyone, and I can take a punch, even if I don't like to get hit. So these other dudes would get overemotional and sloppy, while I remained calm and rational. Considering almost all the other men and women bouncers I worked with had prison records and sh*t, I was actually the NICEST bouncer and security guy at any place I worked at, by far. Some people mistook my kindness for weakness, though. Sucks for them.
TL;DR: Yes, as a former bouncer and club security, I've been in many adult fights before, and never lost any of them.
Yes, it was more a wrestling match than a fist fight. We were rolling around on the lawn and i rubbed his face in dog doo. It ended right after that.

yes, a couple of them...
I have never been in a fake fight though...
Not fake fights. I just mean a fight with higher stakes instead of low ones.
yes...
What happened?
highest stakes you say? alright...
I was 9 years old, so my younger brother was about six years old.. and since we were that young, our parents would not let us hang out outside that far away from our house, but they're still letting me go hang out at the corner, the end of the street which is half a block away, not really that far but still far for a six year old and it is all going well, till... one day my younger brother wanders alone and out of my sight and goes all the way to that corner, and a couple of minutes later he comes back and now he's weeping and crying and about go get louder about it
so I just rush there and I'm like what happened? but he's not telling me anything, and I am trying to calm him down because if my parents find out, it is going to be my fault... and they will not let me go hang out that far away for years to come, so I try to calm him down and for him to tell me what happened, he didn't look hurt or anything, but he's not telling me a word
and that's when this eight year old kid neighbor of us shows up and tells me, that... this other 9 year old kid (same age as me ) who lives by the end of the street, right around the corner was bullying my brother and it was him who made him cry, so I am like what the heck? so I just tell my brother to stay home and not move and to NOT tell my parents, to just wait for me, and then I go walk all the way to the end of the street, the corner and absolutely determined to do something about it, but on my way there, I have time to think and realize...
this kid, let's call him Drago, because he was this blond kid, who was way taller than me and also very sporty kid, and not only that, his older brother was 11 years old so bigger, super Drago so I am on my way there like oh shit... but I can't stop, I just keep going because if we just let this happen once, then those kids will have a hold on us over that corner, every time we're around my brother will be afraid or we're going to get bullied every time we go to the corner store that was right at around that corner, so I sure am not going to back down now
but the closer I get the more unsure I feel lmao.. and then I just made it to the corner and there he was Drago, and his cocky grin and laughing at me, he knew what he had done and he knew I was going to say something but do nothing, because they also happened to be some of the richer kids on the street, so they had a thing about shoes, every time I walked down by his house on my way to the corner store, he would comment something about his shoes, or mine, you know, in a very condescending way, which I would just ignore or dismiss with a smart ass comment but only that
I walked straight towards him and I am right in front of him, and I don't really remember what he said but he said a couple of words and then I just BAM, I strike on him with a left and hit him right on the face, but it was my left hand so it was kind of weak, lol... but right away I want to strike with the right hand and he's ready for it, so he's blocking me with his huge arms, he has way more reach and body than me, so he keeps pushing me back and trying to hold me on a choke hold, so I step back just enough so he can't do that so he gets really upset while he also realizes that he just has a lot more reach than me so he puts his fists up and he's thinking about just swing on me and then I'm like oh shit... do I run or do I stay, because now he's pissed and also, I hear Super Drago, the brother right behind us like HIT HIM, HIT HIM DRAGO!! GET HIM!! but now I can't run even if I wanted to, I am surrounded by a bunch of other kids from our street and you know, they're all like fight fight fight fight!! and then I do the only thing I knew to do back then, I charge against his chest and I try to take him down, but I just can't do that, so then I change the plan and start pushing him against a car that was nearby and now I have him pinned and that is when I start to feel a big rush of adrenaline and become feral crazy so I just start throwing lefts and rights non-stop, and a few of them are reaching and now it's looking like Punch-Out, and I hear all the kids yelling and shouting and getting closer and closer to us, because now Super Drago is coming after me but all other bunch of kids get on his way and try to take him away
till finally, a couple of the older teens that are right there say enough, it's over... one of them simply picked me up like I was a feral kitten and took me away, and another took Drago and send him back to his brother who keeps telling me who knows what but he ain't happy, and I'm still high on adrenaline and feeling kind of dizzy and high at the same time, I can't even feel my arms and my legs feel all shaky so I want to leave and go back to my house but I am not sure if I walking or not because I feel like I am floating around, and little by little I try to realize what actually happened, lol... till I hear a familiar voice, and it was my older brother shouting at me NATHAN!! what the heck are you doing here!! go back home!! and then I hear another familiar voice... that was Drago's mom who was an absolute Karen and she sounds extra pissed off, I can hear her screeching from half a block distance YOU DAMNED SAVAGES SON OF A GUN KIDS!! and who knows what else she said because I just ran away all the way to my house laughing on the way there, not sure why I was laughing but I was all kind of nervous and still processing it all... how it really feels when you actually get into a big fight for the first times
that's more or less, what happened...
Yes I snapped on my bully. After that she didn’t mess with me.
Yeah loads growing up.
it’s life
Loads? Did you grow up on a bad street or something, I was under the impression most people rarely get in real fights, especially as kids it's usually just getting beat up a bit or something like that. What happened if you lost them, or did you lose any?
We used to have fights against other schools, fights in school yard.
Then joined Air Force and would have fights at various times
You win some you lose some
Oh that doesn't sound good. Did you get hurt very badly? I guess you would get good at fighting after a while
It’s just life, it happens
I believe you I'm just surprised. Usually when I've heard of fights they ended with someone being very hurt, or sometimes people get arrested after. If both people want the fight then nobody would be charged yes, but surely you could still get very hurt in it. Were you just injured often in life and that was normal?
I’m guessing you have never been punched.
Sure I have been punched. It's not regular in my life but I can take some hits. I'm just worried if next time it will be serious and the consequences will be much worse.
Yes. But not many of my punches connected.
What happened?
