Nexplanon, Kyleena or Mirena?

I currently have my second Nexplanon implant. The first one went great but I've had this second one for about 3 months and each period has been over 20+ days. It is effecting my sex life with my boyfriend. I went to my OB and she put me on the pill as well but I'm not thrilled about taking that. My only other option would be Kyleena or Mirena. What are your experiences with those? I have heard that some guys can feel a poke from the IUD but from what I see online that seems impossible.

All help is appreciated! I'm miserable with my current situation and just want to make a change that will be better not worse.

I believe the poking is from the strings. I have mirena for my heavy periods.

It was incredibly painful to get put in, had heavy bleeding for a couple months with constant spotting but now my periods are super light to the point I don't need to use anything other than period underwear or a panty liner

Do some research on those two brands, and talk to your doctor.
