Ok so most of the time if I'm feeling like shit, whether it is my period or a cold no mater what the hell it is, I try to continue my every day life, with sports, school, and other extra curriculars (and a job for most people but I still haven't gotten one yet). But whenever someone asks of your ok you say "yha, I'm fine", "Ill be ok" or "no worries, I'm all good", even right after a rely bad situation (I did this after I almost drown'd that's what I'm referring, and it was my fault I almost drown'd that time (not my first time almost drowning))
This is common. And, yes, I do it a lot. With people I know and trust, I'll open up and tell the truth. For others, I do the "I'm great!" because I don't want false sympathy or I don't want to share the story, or a any of a bunch of other reasons. So, I've grown to make sure I have people I can talk to.
