I worked for 3 months at one of those prison-hospitals that required psychiatrists too and the most scary are kept. They also had adjoining facility focusing on 2 to 18 year olds with varied challenges.
One kid had seizures and it was not an easy thing. This 15 year old was off meds, in a room getting scanned, for firing pathway before a requested parental surgery. Rumor is this 15 year old broke a hospital bed during one of his seizures. Meds would not work. That's about it except he knew when one was coming and could tell people and "get safe". I'm sure there's other stuff that I can't recall right now.
Last time I tried to stop my meds I had a seizure in my car and lost my drivers license for 6 months. He mustve been one heavy kid to break a bed ๐๐๐
5'10 165 but super strong when had seizures. At least you are controlled if you can not rebel... No caffeine and alcohol/narcotic, right. You go to one of the research hospitals like DukeUMC, Harvard, Cleveland Clinic, UCLA, type facilities?
I go to a neurologist, i smoke mj once in a while but I cannot drink because of pills I take. I did a lot of hallucinogens in high school which probably didn't help lol. Mainly alcohol and stimulant narcotics will set me off
I dont have any psychiatric issues.
And i drink coffee every day lol
Good luck with it. At least you can be controlled and live a fairly normal life.
I may potentially have autism, but I don't have any diagnosis and it can take a while to get one.
