Obviously in the case of fire, I’d feel safer in the bedroom off the fire escape but of course that makes it easy for someone to climb through your window 🪟and if someone entered my apartment, not sure if I’d have a better chance of making it if I were right off the building or into the courtyard.
If the fire escape led to an isolated area then no chance but it’s in the middle of all the other back doors of apartments and where the cars park. Also the fire escape is right outside the bed so I have direct access to outside but then they’d probably be coming in that way which is bad 😂 🤦🏻♀️ The front door attached to the hallway of the building is about 20 feet away from the bed but then they wouldn’t be coming in the front door which is good 🤔 🤷🏻♀️

Is it better to have multiple entrances from which you can escape but it makes the entry point more ambiguous/ uncertain, OR only one entrance so you know exactly what you’re dealing with…. I guess probably multiple? mice do! But we’re not mice sooooo I’m not sure 🤔
