Do. you get to choosethr color of your cast wrapping?

The last time I had a cast I was 7, so a lot has changed in the 15 years since I had one. At that time the plaster has a cored wrapping. I don't recall getting a say in the color. My first one was red and covered most of my arm, from my wrist to hallfway up my upper arm. The second one was lime green and only went from my wrist to halfway up my forearm. Now if you get a cast, are you allowed to choose the color of it?

The only time I had a cast was back in the late 1970s and they only had one kind of cast.

That cast was made from real plaster. They didn't have fiberglass type yet. So you were stuck with white only.

the cast I had went to my shoulder and all the way down to my fingers It looked kinda like this, but mine was made with plaster. The one in the picture is fiberglass.

See the size difference and I bet the fiberglass one was a lot lighter then the old plaster cast

I’ve never had a cast before since I’ve never broken anything. If I ever get the chance, pink will be first.

I believe so but just from what they have on hand at that time.
