Why I have pimples after shaving?

I recently shaved my chest hair and my beard and I have gotten pimples on my chest and under my chin since then, what is the cause of that and can I get rid of them?

Was the razor clean? Did you exfoliate before shaving? Did you use shaving gel? Did you shave in the right direction?

No i didn’t exfoliate yup I did used shaving cream yup I shaved in the right direction but for razor I haven’t washed it in a while.. I think it’s the cause of it..

Might want to look up pseudofolliculitis barbae and see if it resembles that. It’s fairly common with a lot of black me, but it can effect any guy.
