How much does a nose piercing hurt 1-10? ?

I want to get one and wonder how bad the pain feels. Does it hurt more than a tattoo needle cutting into your skin?

There are definitely far worse piercings to get when it comes to pain. I pierced my septum and nostril myself the pain was probably 4-5 (I don’t have a high pain tolerance). It’s definitely less painful than a tattoo since it’s quick and not dragged out. When I got my tattoo done it felt like they were slashing into my wrist

@Berethor That to me is like telling someone they shouldn’t skateboard cause it’s inevitable that they are going to get cuts and bruises. The pain is temporary it was worth it to me cause I wanted them. Judging from the other opinions under this post it’s obvious most men aren’t a fan but lucky for me I don’t want most men. If a little ink on my skin and metal in my nose is enough of a reason for a man to overlook me then I think he’s doing me a favour

But you are aware that at some point your gonna end up eating shit and yet skateboarding is still worth it cause it’s something one finds enjoyment in. I didn’t get my piercings cause I wanted to hurt myself I wanted them cause I liked how they looked

It’s not that bad! Maybe like a 4 or 5, but it doesn’t last long at all it’s like a burning hot metal rod going through your nostril for 1 second and afterwards it just aches a bit. Definitely worth it in my opinion!

Having a nose piercing certainly does not hurt your chances of finding a man! You are allowed to not like them & avoid girls with them but the majority of men don’t care and some prefer them. Absolutely false that it would hurt any chances lmao

Because I like it and I always wanted to have one 😄😄😄 tattoos hurt a lot but I’m reading a nose piercing hurts less than a tattoo.
