Being a woman sucks at times. Especially when you are one with reoccurring UTIs. I'll be here drinking my body weight in water, cranberry juice and alkalizers if you need me 🤘

Ya know, I've been seeing commercials on tv for this product for people with frequent UTIs. I wasn't paying attention to the name of it, but I think it's something you drink that keeps you from getting UTIs. I think if you are sexually active, the guy has to drink it too. I could be way off base with that, but there is something for people who suffer from constant UTIs.

I'm not sure if I answered you before about UTIs or if it was another member, but I will take the time to explain it to you.

Now, if you have taken a round of antibiotics and they didn't clear up the infection, you need to get a urine sample to your doctor to send to the lab to see what specific bacteria you have. A lot of women seem to be getting e-coli UTIs, which needs a special antibiotic to clear it up.

Women go to the emergency room all the time in terrible pain from UTUs and the medical establishment said 85% of these women were surrering with an e-coli bladder infection. This happened to me, so this is how I know about it.
Whenever you see a doctor about a UTI tell them to take a sample and send it to the lab. That way you get the right antibiotics for the right bacteria infection. Make sense? And saves time.

You might want to ask for a couple of those little cups you pee in to take home with you. Because the pain from a UTI can be so excruciating that you can't even go to the doctor. A family member or friend can take your home sample into the doctors office for you then they can send it to the lab.

Preventing UTIs. Always wipe from the front to the back. If any of your poop happens to get into the opening where bacteria causes a ITU that's how you get an ecoli UTI.

Always go pee before and right after sex
Make sure anyone who is going to use their hands down there that they wash their hands throughly with warm water and soap. Same goes for you if you touch yourself down there.

That sucks. I'm a guy and probably have no business commenting, but may I make a suggestion that seems to help in our household with a wife and daughter? We're American's and live part of the year in Europe, where we have a bidet attachment to our regular toilet. It's more info than you maybe want to hear, but we love it. And yes, they've been proven to help prevend UTIs. It won't do anything for the current one, but it might help prevent them for you in the future. Apologies if that's too personal, but it might be worth looking into. It's just a replacement toilet seat with the built in water sprayer.

A girls ass and vagina is closer than a guys, sometimes cross contamination occurs, which is why girls get them a lot compared to guys. Same with if the guy does anal and then shoves it in back in her vagina, this will most certainly give a uti.

Hi Doozy. I have recently had surgery to correct my frequent UTIs. I know how it sucks. Just keep drinking lots of water, take your meds and get better.

Some people just get them randomly 🙂 has nothing to do with hygiene. Often it can be stress or environmental factors.

Go to the grocery store and get a thing called AZO in the pharmacy section. You should notice a difference in about 5hrs

one of my daughters had a defective ureter/bladder sphincter. pee would back up in her kidneys and lay her out. 106 fever a couple of times. she needed surgery, never had a uti since.

Would also like to add that sleeping around doesn't increase your likelihood of a uti. Just having sex one time could end you up with one.
