What are some places you've gone barefoot, aside from the usual home, pool and beach?

I’ve taken my shoes off a couple times at an airport terminal if I have a long delay. I think I had socks on, though and I’ll only do it if I’m not around people, if I’m kind of off by myself. If I’m wearing flats or heels or shoes that I can slip off, I’ll take them off if I’m sitting at a restaurant eating or something like that but I never walk around barefoot,

I don't go anywhere barefoot, and I don't understand how it is that people cannot be aware of the fact that it's actually risky to do so. Shoes protect our feet from sharp objects, and there are plenty of those on the streets.

I had surgery on one of my ankles earlier this year, and once the weather warmed up, and I was able to walk without crutches with a special boot, it felt really good to walk barefoot around the neighborhood on the concrete sidewalks.

I often go barefoot in my neighborhood because I know the streets are clean. I also do that near the beach.

When I'm studying at a library I always remove my shoes so I sometimes walk around without putting them back on.
