I definitely recommend you to see someone about it. I really didn't want to get help myself but I was forced to and the doctor put me on Escitalopram for Anxiety and depression. It helped me so much, but yes I still get depressed here and there but it is much more manageable. I also recommend seeing a therapist because I am not seeing one and I think that is why I am not getting fully healed. So I really think you should look into one. Take care of yourself because you really will feel better.

The best thing to do is to take it one day at a time and if you’re unproductive that is okay. There is tomorrow or the day after that. I know for me the gym helps me manage mine but therapy is a valid option too. It sounds bad and scary but it can be a really good tool to help learn how to manage your depression in a healthy way
Best first step is to get away from the internet. The things that bubble to the surface tend to be the things that make people feel hated for who they are. But if you can't get off the internet for reasons then at least quit right-wing media, as that's the "fire" that causes all the bubbles; the social engineers of self loathing and feeling sorry for oneself because no one is otherwise dumb enough to vote republican based on merit..
Take little actionable steps that will help you feel less depressed.
