Do your lips often get chappy?

My lips do. Vaseline don't work at all. Only thing that relieves my pain is a blueberry lip balm by a brand called frudia.

if you keep licking it unconsciously it causes dryness.. I put vaseline before bed. before I put vaseline I wet my lips with water a little. vaseline works best when you apply it on a bit of wet skin.. also before going out or whenever I feel my lips are dry I use blistex I don't know if you have that in your country

All the time! I always have multiple Burt's Bees vanilla bean chapstick with me wherever I go. I keep them in my car, backpack, etc. I even take them into restaurants with me sometimes after eating certain food that may cause my lips to get chapped right away. I always use it after brushing my teeth and before bed as well.

Yes. A lot. I alternate between using those. I think so far Carmex works the best which also has SPF protection.

Another weird thing that also works for me is Nivea cream. When I ran out of lip balm, that is what I apply and for some weird reason, it works.

Bro yes! I use it for my hands, for my lips even for my face and neck when I ran out of face cream. It is the equivalent of 6 in 1 shampoo some men apply to wash their hair, their body, their dog, their cat, the plates, their car.

Well of course Vaseline isn't going to work on its own. It's a barrier balm. It keeps moisture in and subsequently also keeps it out. In order for it to work you'd need to put something moisturising on and then use the Vaseline to keep that moisture in. I often end up just using my face moisturiser on my lips then a lip balm like blistex, Burt's bees, carmex etc over top (I have a thousand different lip balms)

They did if I licked them during the winter. At that point you fallen into the trap and it only spirals downhill and get worse. The trick was to keep them dry and don't ick your lips and they'll get better by themselves.
