I get white rice and fried rice stuck in my throat and have to have the heimlich maneuver or I would have died. Thank goodness the first time it happened I was in a hospital setting and the nurse did the manouver on me or I would have died. I couldn't breathe because my throat swelled up from the rice.
The last time it happened luckily my boyfriend knew what to do. He grabbed the handle of his toothbrush and shoved it down my throat and cleared my airway.

No more rice for me!

I've done that to a few ladies, they moaned and groaned, and I thought it was working, but they never coughed up hamburger. Maybe I didn't do it long enough.
