Honestly I was always too intimidated to do bench presses when I went to the gym, the closest I got to them was when I picked up walking lunges. I got to the second weight teir with them so I think it was 40kg with the bar as well.
I always preferred the other arm machines myself the one where you pull down and the other where you pull apart, at one point I got to doing 70kg on them. I was also managing about 160 on the legs one too. Definitely can't do either of those now though, I'll probably have to go back to 30 and 100kg it's been years since I hit the gym.
My wife does lifting the shopping bags she brings home from target!
