Personally, I am by definition. I believe in equality of the sexes - simple as that. However, I don't enjoy the toxic feminism that seems to be portrayed everywhere. I don't hate men for being men and I don't think women are the all mighty.

Perhaps E? I don't know. I don't find feminists proposing a viable alternative to basic traditions (not the ones that pose impasses to opportunities) of a kind that seem to be having positive benefits.

I don't like the mindset of just working towards equality. I read before about a feminist that tried to equalize prison systems between male and female prison systems to the point where they were having pregnant prisoners shackled up like violent male offenders on women's day. That arguably made things overall worse, not better. It's not questioning how to make things better, just equal. If we went full-blown equal there, the prisons would be desegregated, and perhaps a lot of female prisoners would be raped by males.

I am in favor of fairness, opening up opportunities to the widest range of people because doing that benefits everyone to have a larger pool of skills to select from, but I am not in favor of doing something just because it makes things more "equal".

I also don't conflate "equal" with "fairness" between two fairly different individuals. Equal would be like giving a little boy and girl the exact same toy, even if one hates it. I consider fair to be giving them both something they can enjoy, maybe even promote sharing if they both enjoy each other's toys. But I don't find "equal" to be an optimal mindset to improving situations.

I am in favor of basic equal rights under the law, but that doesn't require a feminist framework to support. That's just in the realm of human rights.

Like you said, by that definition, I am a feminist. By that definition literally fucking everyone is a feminist. By that definition, Stalin was probably a feminist. My point is, it's misleadingly over-inclusive. "How could you oppose feminism? All it is is equality of the sexes."

No. Feminism is a highly specific , rigid ideology in which economic leftism, certain stances on unrelated social policy like abortion, affirmative action, gun control, etc., and cultural liberalism, hedonism, and promiscuity are inherent. It also claims to maximize choices for women, while it really only changes which choices are deemed acceptable.

Egalitarianism is the no-strings-attached support for equality of the sexes that feminism purports to be. And an egalitarian, I am.

I didn't vote in the poll because there is no option that represents the reality of feminism. I support gender fairness because there is no such thing as gender equality.

But regardless, feminism bears no resemblance to the dictionary definition so we need to stop judging it, and whether people support it, based on that definition. Feminism is as feminism does, and the fact is feminism is an extremely toxic and divisive influence in society. If you support feminism you support that garbage by giving credibility to bad women and giving them a platform from which to monger their hate and foster divisiveness.

I don't know. I'm all for equality such as equal pay etc. But i do think societal norms make such thing to be 100% equal near impossible. Such as, i've said i have doubt there are many women with the courage of lions. But having men and women serve together in combat on the front lines is a bad idea.
Also you can't pick and choose. If you get the benefits that a man does you should share in the bad. If the ship is sinling it's children first then we flip a coin lol.

Women want everything to be equal until something goes bump in the middle of the night. Guess who the first one to go downstairs and risk there safety and possibly be put in a situation where they might have to harm someone who illegally entered there house and will be held accountable by the police.
