I think they would. Luckily it's only Kim Yo-Yong, who is far from the most powerful woman in the world. She's from one of the weakest nations in the world who's limited power is centered entirely upon preventing people from knowing they have a choice. They wouldn't even survive without constant humanitarian aide from other nations. Her government is on the brink of collapse, using technology about 40 years out of date, with an army they can't support, and is starving to death. And she isn't even the most powerful person in that government.
They are homogenous society and they will be the most powerful because of it. There is no other woman on earth who will wield her power. She will be the Supreme commander. No other woman on earth will have her power! A nation that can stand on its own with such little land against globalist economic sanctions for more than 50 years, the world only wishes they would fall. And they do not get humanitarian aid, Israel gets humanitarian aid, not North Korea, they have limited trade partners!

No, North Korea gets humanitarian aide quite often. They get aid from China, the United Nations, NGOs, and Red Cross. China provides the most aid, having sent $3 million worth of food in 2016 and 240 tonnes of food in 2012. In 2016, South Korea sent 50,000 tonnes of rice, 4,000 tonnes of wheat, and $12 million. Further humanitarian aid came from Switzerland, Sweden, Canada, Norway, France, Germany, Denmark, Finland and Ireland.
She may one day be Supreme Commander, but she'd be Supreme Commander of North Korea, one of the weakest nations in the world, which has over 1,000 defectors every year who bring intel on how the government is failing. North Korea is a joke.

I had heard the Kim Jong Un had health issues, But not that he was stepping down. If he does in fact pass the mantel of power to his sisters way. I think that would be interesting to see what she does with that power.
He will not step down but she is name heir to the throne. She will be a step up of North Korean sovereignty. National Socialism is rising in both North and South Korea and reunification could even be possible in distant future if all goes well.
