According to local news, the authorities are closing a footpath for at least 3 days because of dangerous animals in the area. The photos show the headline, a map of the closed path in red, and a family walking along the path which runs along the cliff edge.
But what terrifying creature lurks on this path to make the authorities close it for our safety?
Curious. I’m trying to imagine an animal that migrates. Otherwise the trail would be closed all year. Maybe the snake? Snakes’ vision worsens right before and during a molt. So it might have struck at someone or something it would normally avoid. Wolves? Maybe there’s something on which they prey that comes ashore or migrates through that area seasonally. Otherwise, i would guess that the most dangerous thing on that trail at any given time is people. It’s fascinating and you should definitely go investigate. Take a friend though. Just in case there really is something dangerous going on. I would definitely go check it out. If they really don’t want people there, just close it quietly. They put it in the headlines because they know that will stir some people to go investigate! It’s probably some kind of Halloween PR stunt.

He wouldn't let me get close enough for a grab. The rest of the pack was in the wood line behind my house. Bobcats, I see em all the time. Black bear? Big chickens for the most part. Cougars? Great fucks!
