i usually use the hydrogen peroxide solution to clean my contacts but today i used the opti free. Have you ever gotten the feeling of a burning or irritating type feeling when using it? My eyes felt like I had just been in a fight.

Yeah man, I've used Opti-Free before and sometimes it can make my eyes feel really irritated. A few thoughts on that:
- Opti-Free is more of a no-rub formula than regular peroxide solution, so it may not rinse as completely from your lenses when inserting them. Could leave more residue behind.
- The pH level might be different than what your eyes are used to with the peroxide. Even a small change can cause stinging.
- If your lenses are older, they may not cooperate as well with the Opti-Free formula over time. Could be more likely to trap some solution under the lens.
- You could also maybe be sensitive or allergic to one of the ingredients in Opti-Free that isn't in the peroxide solution you normally use.
My advice would be to thoroughly rinse your lenses with contacts storage solution before putting them in next time. Also flush your eyes with some extra contact lens rinse or saline after insertion, just to dilute anything trapped under there.
If it keeps irritating, maybe stick to your regular peroxide. Or ask your eye doc to check for any sensitivity issues. Hope your eyes feel better soon, man! Contacts can be annoying sometimes.
I haven't but you have sensitive eyes so stop using it.
