No... At least not fully. Cancer is incredibly complicated and it's not just one disease with one cause, so its unlikely there will every be a "cure". There will absolutely be new developments in treatments that will extend remission times or even permanently put someone in remission. So yeah better treatments and perhaps preventions for some cancers is more likely achievable.
They probably already have, but they are waiting for a new illness to come up, so the Health care industry can make more money. Look at all the ads online for Therapy like Better Help and shady therapy companies. If they legalized sex work men wouldn't go to therapy for their loneliness or pay $8000 for a RealDoll or an AI girlfriend. Same thing with women being paranoid that men are going to rape them or are using them only for sex which is promoted on tik tok and social media.
The Health care industry makes too much off of stuff that they can fix. Like KFC, Burger, they donate billions to the American, heart, diabetes, cancer, associations. A doctor in China made used the CRISPR to make child immune to aids and saved the child from growing up and being forced to take pills for the rest of it's life, but he got in trouble for that.
They don't want to get rid of those illnesses until something new comes around that they can make profit off of.
The scientist who did the gene editing (CRISPR) got in trouble because it was illegal and he did it in secret. There wasn't enough research on it to start human trials. There's now 3 kids out there (twins aged 6 and another age 5) who have been genetically edited and we don't know how it will effect them long term or if it even worked because the research was incredibly flawed
And you believe any BS the Chinese government puts out? There is a 53-year-old man who stopped his HIV medications and has been cured of HIV. The HIV medication are very expensive to make because HIV always mutate they say. That is why they are allowing that HIV to be cured now. The medications are too expensive and people end going Medicare to pay for the medication because they can't afford it. It's becoming to expensive to make the medication, so now it's time for a cure show up.
Just like how they come out with a vaccine for COVID as soon as possible. Is there enough "research" and testing to come with vaccine for an a new illness so quickly just because the hospitals are being over worked and their rich donors can't get their care because there are too many poor people getting sick from covid.
It's profit over people how are the doctors suppose to make money if you're not sick all the time. The food in the stores are filled garbage in it, and then the food companies donate billions of dollars for them to do more "research" It's for profit.
Curing diseases and illnesses isn't as profitable as treating them
They don't want to cure cancer because Big Pharma wants the money 💰 and if people are cured then they don't need medicine

I think medicine companies make too much money off of not curing it , I think that people have come close in the past but the plans disappeared.
Not in our lifetime.
