It's going to get worse soon because migration seasons just around the corner which will spread it to new areas. Apart from keeping birds under cover and maintaining hygiene there's little the poultry industry can do but monitor and cull. Wildlife wise it's birds that form dense colonies that are most at risk, a local island had a population of 36000 gannets cut in half in one year
