I have a physical defect that abused me a lot of ambarassment when I was growing up. My parents never could have afforded plastic surgery. Now I am old and married and can live with it

No way! Just knowing the risk of infection would stop me from having any type of surgery.
I knew a lady who had cosmetic surgery and it caused a terrible infection and she died.
