Well I've had 5 babies so I've litterally popped out huge clots of blood after birth. It does also happened during my period but not that often since my blood is thinner

how much comes out during your period i presume its not all at once but u have times during that you release

After birth a woman bleeds for 6-8 weeks. And the periods after that are also terrible

It's because the placenta wound. And they are painful after because the scar tissue build up on the uterus
